 Dragons of The Dragonsite

Andrew Bill

Word Wizard, keeper of a great treasure, a library of ancient volumes, books bound in magic. We all know that words have power. The power to hurt, heal, please, offend. Words in the mouth of a Wizard, however, have a much greater potency; they can bring forth dragons!  The dust-laden shelves of the old library contain large leather-bound books bursting with stories of heroes and villains, princes and paupers, all busily engaged in good or evil. Each heavy volume is a world unto itself with its own time and history, peoples and continents. The oldest books have the greatest power, for theirs are the oldest stories. Tales that have stood long centuries upon the shelves, a wealth of years through which to percolate the powers of the enchanters of whom they tell.

Being the consummate librarius the Word Wizard classifies his collection by order of their content. Tales of darkness, horror and fear may be found under Gothic. Heroes, quests and derring-do under Adventure. Sorcery, mystery, mythology and faerie tales all have their place. The verbuMMagus knows these epics well for some of their characters visit him when their books are open. Sorcerers who can spirit themselves from one tale to conjure forth a Dragon from another or a bold knight eager to learn how to achieve the greatest quest contained within the bejeweled covers of his own story. The supreme arbiter gives aid if he pleases and closes the book if he does not. And do the errant characters always return to the same opus from which they came? The verbuMMagus knows but always his answer is only an enigmatic smile.
Two thousand tales of magic and adventure, one keeper to watch over them, the Word Wizard the verbuMMagus.
Raised in Staffordshire in the heart of England. A keen interest in wildlife and the environment coupled with a long standing passion for mythology, helped him create the highly successful range of novels and figurines that was Enchantica; easily the most popular brand of fantasy sculptures of its time. Andrew has been designing and sculpting wizards and Dragons for almost a decade and a half, from dragons that would fit in your pocket to show-stopping beasts with two foot wingspans, his work is avidly sought by collectors from all over the world.

About JULIE BELL

Born in Beaumont, Texas, Julie Bell's unique sense of color and dramatic composition puts her paintings in a class by themselves. Her legendary "metal flesh" has the fluency of water and the hardness of steel while maintaining the sensual softness of the skin. This magical effect has become her unmistakable trademark. A former competitive bodybuilder, Julie applies the same discipline and intensity to her art career. At the heart of her art is an element of empowerment and independence.

About Nene Tina Thomas

Larger Photo not available yet.

Nene Tina Thomas began her professional career in 1994 when she was approached by wizards of the Coast to contribute work to the popular card game, "Magic: the Gathering", Her work with Wizard's of the Coast can still be seen in the forth and fifth expansions, Antiquities, Legends, The Dark, Homelands and the new "Magic: The Gathering" CD ROM Game. Some of the other card games that feature her work are Shadowfist, Legend of the Five Rings, Galactic Empires, Tempest of the Gods, Wyrmwars, Gridiron, Vampire: The Eternal Struggle, Xenophiles, and Battlelords of the 23rd Century.
She has completed cover or interior artwork for many publications including Cryptech, Paper Mayhem, The Leading Edge and Scrye Magazine
Nene's collectors come from every walk of life as well as nearly every age group. They are all drawn to the beauty, grace, and lyricism of her exquisite paintings all rendered in watercolor! This is an exceptionally difficult medium few can master!
Nene continues to smash through preconceived notions of what a watercolor painting should look like with her exuberantly colorful award wining pieces such as Faery of Ravens or Aquamarine. Nene's style has been described as "...masterful paintings of startling complexity, as she is unafraid to chart new waters and blaze new trails...". Nene's paintings have a mass appeal that both compliments & transcends the fantasy market. What will the future bring Nene's? One thing is certain, she will not be content to rest on her laurels!
Nene Currently lives in Oklahoma City with her husband Steven Plagman, who is also her framer and fancy mat cutter. Nene spends her days sketching, researching, painting and playing with her six cats, Shadowfax, Snowmane, Amber, Blackfel, Leilani and Night Shade. She has three sisters and two brothers, all of them artistic and musically talented. She doesn't smoke, drink, swear, or gamble, - but she is horribly addicted to Ice skating, The Sims, and Heroes of Might and Magic. Aw, no one's perfect!

About Hap Henriksen

Lost in the mists of time. A distant memory of forgotten lore. A long lost tale is remembered. The first born are resurrected.
These leviathans will once again command land, sea and skys. Once again their leathery wings will catch the currents of the winds. The wakes of giant serpents will be seen in all of the reborn lands waters. The land and the dark places will tremble with the strides of the mighty lizards. Those creatures who were first gifted with speech, will again speak the ancient languages. The ancient memories and legends will be remembered. The eggs laid so very long ago are beginning to hatch.

The land too is undergoing a rebirth, one scorched by the ravages of war and pestilence, it too shows signs of resurrection. Pockets of humanity have survived in far flung places on the globe. In the woods and underground life has regained a foothold. The dwarves have dug deeper into their mines and still do battle with goblins and trolls. The woodland fey have also experienced a regeneration and now their kingdoms have spread with the regrowth of the forests.

The question that persists is how this reborn world will do? Will it flourish or falter. Pockets of evil still exist and for eons watched and waited…waited to strike out at this resurrected world.
