Brought up in picturesque Stratford-upon-Avon, England, home to the great William Shakespeare, Richard Rice, the creator of Secret Worlds has much beauty and inspiration from which to draw. The younger of two children, Richard has always had a fascination with metal works of art. Turning that fascination into reality, Richard became an apprentice sculptor in a local pewter giftware company following college .

The World of Love

After serving as an apprentice, Richard embarked on opening his own metal works studio. Royal Doulton, Country Artists as well as Royal Worcester have commissioned Richard for many projects. In his spare time Richard started to craft an exciting gift concept using mixed media with traditional themes— Secret Worlds was created!
Today Richard is living close to his hometown with wife Stephanie and two children, Hayley and Richard Jr. And of course what family would be complete with out two rabbits and five goats! When Richard is not creating beauty, he enjoys seeing it by getting a bird's eye view of the lovely Avon River from his helicopter or exploring nature on hikes with his family.
