Welcome to the Phoenix Collection of fine hand-crafted American made pewter fantasy miniature art figurines by the Studios of Karas Rocha. Exclusively produced within the borders
of the United States by a staff of fine craftsmen and highly talented artisans.. |

Begun in 2003, as an addition to the basic line of pewter art of Karas Rocha, these miniatures are excellent for the building of scenes, dioramas and miniature chess
sets. Each piece is well detailed and in most cases will be enhanced with fine Austrian Crystals. In some case, there will also be pieces embellished with moderate, but well laid colorations. the line begins
with a series of fantasy and mythology pieces which include: Dragons, Wizards, Mythological creatures and various beings right out of the pages of legend and lore. As time progresses, numerous other items of
both fantasy and contemporary are planned, including a series of unique fantasy Limited Edition collections within their own series. |

As time goes and additional items are added, the collection will reach out through a number of themes and characters including, but not limited to: dragons, wizards, sorceresses,
castles, knights, mermaids, fairies, unicorns, pegasus' and the always present 'Bad Guy' antagonists. There are also, the beginning stages of a little touch of good old fashioned humor--always a fun thing to
have. |

One of the greatest difficulties we had in offering this line of fine handcrafted products by the Phoenix fantasy pewter collection was to be
found directly in the fact that these items are handcrafted by individual artisans. As a result of this hand craftsmanship, sizes may vary somewhat from one same item to the next. |
|
This does not mean that the same exact items will not have exactly the same components and volume to those components as another, but what it does mean is
that the actual dimensions, --height, width or depth-- based on the pitch and angle of mounting, may vary to some degree. One craftsman may splay a pair of wings outward on a dragon -- lowering the height
and thereby increasing the width-- while another may do totally the opposite, with the same dragon, thus altering the dimensions to the opposite degree. |

Good American pewter is a very flexible and durable alloy, not to be confused with lead castings, --which are not very flexible and can break easily. By
taking the wings, tails, arms, legs and even the heads of these pieces --and a lot of practice-- we can reshape various components of these items safely to create a wholly new look and size of dimension, for
most of the items found in this file. |
