The Kachina Dancers Collection.
In their corporeal manifestations the kachinas bring much needed rain, present gifts, and provide entertainment for
Indians. Because of their vast, life-or-death influence over the affairs of men, kachinas are honored in ceremony after ceremony. Masked dancers, the Kachina impersonators, who believe themselves to be the embodiment of
these spirits - a belief shared by other members of the tribe - lead the celebrations.
