Starlite Studios, LLC, a fine art foundry located in Los Angeles, was founded in 1972 by Bob Beckerman. Today his sons continue to manage and grow the business. Starlite  Studios represents sculptors through Gallery Edition publishing. The Legends Originals, Genesis and Kitty's Critters collections are marketed and distributed through Limited Edition Publishings. Starlite Studios has expanded to include offering foundry services to other artists, publishers, and private label clients. Their unique technical innovations of Mixed Media®, Lucite®, and metal embedment are making a dramatic impact on the market.

Every sculpture is an original.
In sculpting, the clay form of the sculpture presented by the artist is just one step in the creation process. This clay version is completely destroyed when the initial molds are made. The finished metal casting made from those molds are all first generation castings of the sculpture. Therefore, each sculpture is an original casting, making each piece an original, and subsequently, much more valuable. It is this unique concept, as well as their masterful innovation of Mixed Media®–the harmonious blending of precious metals and hot-torched patinas-that has established them as leaders in the fine art market. Starlite Studios L.L.C. takes their commitment to fine art one step further by working toward cultural and wildlife conservation, and proudly donates a percentage of profits from selected releases to various non-profit organizations. Legends Studios quickly grew to it's own heights with it's introduction of new techniques for the embedding of Mixed Media sculptures --pewter, bronze & marble--  within exceptionally durable lucites and acrylics, thus effecting a state of 'Living Life and Movement' to statuary never experienced before.  These pieces not only allow for the collecting of some fine and well valued works of art, they also make for some of the most beautiful home decor items available. And due to their reasonable pricing for many items, they also allow for the giving of magnificent gifts for that special occasion.
