	Atop the crumbling towers of the Menogan monastery, high in the recesses of the Marble Fortress, sits Menkara, son of Merlok, sentinel of this edificium. It is strange that only the north walls are in such decay, battered by the fierce elemental forces at play, or maybe some darker powers desire the knowledge held within.

Room upon vaulted room all lined with books and manuscripts, dating back
before the forces of winter held so much power. The Castle, although warm, could still withstand a mighty siege and a garrison of men and dwarves watch to the north along with their protector, Menkara.
