Old writings exist, from the great book of Enchantica, of smaller "Raptor-like" dragons, who, within the the great forests of Dragongorge, hunt and roam together in small packs led by a larger, more ferocious leader, a coordinator of attacks, the final killer of prey or foe.

The passage reads: "they moved with great swiftness amongst the broken trees and branches of the old forest. Perfectly camouflaged, these beasts position themselves strategically, by commanding calls from their pack leader, around their chosen prey."
Once the pack were in position, the leader resplendent in forest hues, hunched upon it's sharp sinewy legs, head lowered, lips drawn back across sharp white teeth, burst through the greenery of the forest, claws and talons bared for the kill.
